Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 2 1/2 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 large clove garlic, finely grated or minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup low-fat 2% milk add more for a thinner dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, blue cheese, onion powder, garlic, white wine vinegar, salt, and pepper. Gently mash the blue cheese into the base with a fork while stirring.
  2. Slowly pour in the milk, stirring constantly, until the dressing reaches the consistency you like.
  3. Transfer to an airtight container, cover, and refrigerate until chilled. Stir or shake well before serving.

Notes

For a thinner dressing, add extra milk a teaspoon at a time until it pours easily.
To use as a thick dip for buffalo wings or veggies, leave out the milk completely.
Store in a sealed jar or salad dressing bottle in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Shake or stir well before each serving because the ingredients settle as it sits.
Do not leave the dressing at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
Substitute red wine vinegar or fresh lemon juice if you do not have white wine vinegar.
Make it a day ahead so the garlic and blue cheese flavors can meld even more.
